1 Week

Adeline is one week old today!! She is such a sweet little thing. We are absolutely in love with her! She does have a bit of a temper, that we have witnessed already, but for the most part she is happy and content. We are still trying to teach her that in order to be in our family, she must learn to accept the pacifier...so far she is refusing. I suppose we will eventually stop trying to force it on her, and realize that it is probably a blessing in disguise! We are so happy to have her in our family and we love having the baby smell back in our house. (The yummy, "just had a bath" one...not the "I just blew out my diaper" one!!) Here are a few pictures from Adeline's first week...

Bode LOVES holding, touching, kissing, hugging Adeline. For the most part, she likes it too.

Summer likes holding Adeline too, but usually gets bored with it a little faster than Bode. (For the record, Wyatt thinks it is totally unfair that they get to hold her while he is at school. Bode also thinks it is unfair that Summer gets her all to herself in the afternoons when both the boys are at school.)

Summer likes to "read" to Adeline. She is very good about doing this when I am trying to get something done and can't hold Adeline. What a great sister.


Adeline HATES the first half of her bath until I wash her hair and then she LOVES it. She will usually just lay around for a while after her bath and look at everything. I guess she likes having clean hair...I can't blame her!
