Utah

We loved being able to spend time in Utah before we headed to California. The kids LOVED playing with their cousins and Zach and I enjoyed to short break from the crazy move. These are some random pictures of our vacation.

What is a trip to Utah in the winter without a few days on the slopes?! Here is a picture of Wyatt and Dad getting ready to ride the lift.

This was Bode's first year to try skiing. We put him in a lesson and he seemed to really enjoy it. The only problem was there was a really bitter wind that made him pretty cold. This picture was taken at the end of his lesson after he had spent a few minutes with his hands under the heater.

Wyatt is becoming a good little skier and he decided to spend the whole day on the mountain with Dad instead of coming home at lunch time with Bode.
While we were in Utah we had to privilege of spending an evening with my parents walking around some special places in the Salt Lake temple. While we were down there they showed us a picture of a little girl standing outside the temple doors that they loved. As a Christmas surprise for them, we decided to take Summer down to the temple and recreate the picture for them to put in their offices at the temple. Here is my favorite one.
