Still Here

If you are reading this post it means that you are actually still checking our blog. That's impressive considering it's been over a month since we last posted. My apologies. We have been busy with the daily tasks of life, as I'm sure you all have been as well. We did manage to take a break from the chaos and take a trip up to Zach's grandparent's house for Thanksgiving. His entire family came and it was GREAT to see everyone again. We had 2 new nieces and a new nephew that we were dying to meet. Unfortunately we forgot our camera. Thankfully everyone else remembered to bring their cameras so we could steal their pictures.

The first night we were there Kelly made a sign for Zach that said"Obama Lovers have to eat outside" Zach proudly stuck the sign to his chest and took his place at the table.

Summer and Elle had tons of fun together. In this picture they are modeling their pipe cleaner crowns.

As usual, the kids spent most of their time playing in the pit. Here Wyatt and Bode are playing with Hayden.

There were babies everywhere! Harper (right) and Devon (middle) are only 2 days apart. Lily Kate (left) was born 2 months after them.
Throw Adeline in with them and here are the four grandkids born in one year!
Since we were all together it was decided to take a new family picture. Zach was so excited!

We tried to get a picture of Grandpa and Grandma with all the grandkids but Adeline kind of ruined it. Every time I set her down she would start screaming. Apparently she hates pictures about as much as her dad does.
Summer loved all of the babies. She was a little mommy all week. All of the babies were smothered in her slobbery kisses. Here she is during one of the many times she asked to hold Lily Kate.
One afternoon Heidi, Emmi, Kelly and I took Summer, Hayden and Elle (& Lily Kate) to the little local zoo. It was a perfectly sized zoo for their age.

It was SO fun to see everyone!! Thanks to Grandpa and Grandma for hosting all of us! We wish we lived closer so we could see everyone more often.

(Natalie, next time we are in town we HAVE to get together! I'm so sad it didn't work out this time!)
