The other day I went out for a run on a trail by our house. As I was running I saw an older man coming towards me on the trail. We were both running pretty slow so I got a good look at him before we passed each other. I could tell by his body language that he was a happy little guy. It didn't hurt that he was wearing some bright aqua running shorts either! He also had a tight little tank top on that complimented his foot long white beard nicely. As we met I smiled and said, "good morning". He smiled right back and shouted "Jesus loves you!". It cracked me up. For the rest of my run I had a smile on my face. It's true. Jesus does love me and he loves you too.
Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of him. (See pet peeve #4 in post above). So, in an attempt to not be a total hypocrite here is a link to another running adventure I had this summer.
