I was chatting with my dad last night about how much I disagree with Romney's proposed foreign policy, his stance on our military, his position on China and so forth. My dad suggested that if he were to get into office, he could find himself surrounded by good advisers and change course on some or all of those topics. Imagine my surprise when on the radio this morning someone suggested that flip-floppers may do poorly in campaigns, but be may more successful once in office (if you click, make sure you get to the third section of the link). Could "flip-flopper" and similar terms be dysphemisms for an individual who is willing to compromise or someone who is willing to listen to good advice?

I listened to that article this morning also. Very thought provoking. Hope you are all doing well.
